​It's growing season, for vegetables, for leadership, for community. And this year, for the fight to protect our democracy and our right to vote.

​Join Chicago Women in Green (WIG) in the Fraser C. Robinson Picnic Area at the Obama Presidential Center.

​We'll hear briefly from the Chicago Botanic Garden and Urban Growers Collective on their work in the gardens, and from Leslie Bowles of the League of Conservation Voters on the pro-environment candidates worth watching this fall.

​Good to know: Free and open to women and all who identify as women. RSVP required.

​Museum access is not included, but the 19-acre campus has plenty to explore.

​The on-site restaurant stays open afterward, pay your own way. We're also exploring a group reservation there, more on that soon.
