IAM for Non-Human Identities
Non human identities already outnumber human users in most modern environments. CI CD pipelines, cloud workloads, Kubernetes services, and automation systems constantly authenticate and access critical resources. Yet many organizations still manage these identities with long lived credentials, unclear ownership, and limited visibility, creating significant security and operational risk.
In this meetup, Irori will focus on the foundations required to make Identity and Access Management work in real platform environments. We will explore how IAM for non human identities differs from traditional IAM, where most organizations struggle in practice, and what mature implementations look like across cloud, platform, and automation layers.
Following this, HashiCorp will explore the next evolution of IAM, focusing on Agentic AI IAM and how organizations can prepare for a future where autonomous systems act on behalf of users and services.
TALK 1: Machine Identity, IAM and Secrets
Modern platforms run on thousands of machine identities across CI CD, cloud, Kubernetes, and automation, often secured with long lived credentials, unclear ownership, and limited visibility. This session covers solutions and ways of thinking towards this.

TALK 2: HashiCorp Vault and Agentic IAM
With the rapid rise of AI agents, one of the biggest challenges isn’t just what they can do, it’s what they should be allowed to do. Agentic authorization ensures agents operate within the right contextual boundaries. At HashiCorp we have been solving the challenges for non-human identities for over a decade, so let’s take a deeper look at this challenge and how HashiCorp Vault can solve this challenge.
