Welcome to Portland’s Claude Code design meetup, created for designers, creative technologists, product thinkers, and design-led builders who are exploring what’s possible with Claude Code.

But here's what nobody's talking about: the most interesting AI story for designers isn't about generating pixels — it's about everything that happens before anyone opens Figma. In my talk "AI Across the Design Diamond," I'll walk through how AI is reshaping every phase of the design process — from synthetic user research and journey mapping, through rapid ideation with Claude artifacts and Google Stitch's brand-new infinite canvas, to Figma Make and the MCP server that lets AI agents write directly to your design files using your actual components and tokens. This is a narrative talk with real examples, not a hype session.
