ECOTONE Opening Launch

ecotone is a sound installation conceptualised by Alberto Anhaus and curated by Shireen Marican, born from two converging research interests centred on vanishing ecosystems and plant histories. These plants become the shared object of inquiry of both practices circling from different directions. Shireen approaches through social imagination, Alberto through sensory translation.

The bilateral project occurring in both Singapore and Venice takes research references contextualised to both places occurring between October and November 2026. The Singapore presentation is shown in the Arts x Tech Lab, managed by the National Arts Council and the Venice presentation is shown at Panorama Venezia, an independent arts space.

The presentation runs from 30 October to 1 November from 12pm to 7pm daily.
