​The bitcoin node workshop in Mumbai is organised by Bitshala.

​Come join us to learn about:

​What is a bitcoin node? ​How does it provide you monetary sovereignty? ​How to setup a bitcoin node at your home? ​How to connect your wallets to your node?

​We will:

​1) Download and verify Bitcoin core, Fulcrum and Sparrow wallet

​2) Installing bitcoin core and running testnet4

​3) Pairing Fulcrum with Bitcoin core and indexing Installing Sparrow wallet, and connecting it with Fulcrum

​4) Create a new wallet with seed phrase. Sending and receiving testnet transactions.

​5) We will also explore alternate implementation of Bitcoin protocol i.e. Bitcoin Knots

​We will follow Bitshala's - The Sovereign Bitcoiner's ToolKit created by Bala. This sovereign stack can be setup in any windows/Linux/MacOS laptop/desktop/mini-PCs, reducing barriers of entry. Please find the link below:
