DialedIn Durham | A CreateHER Fest Tech Series
DIALED IN is a five-city workshop roadshow bringing creators, developers, artists, founders, and emerging technologists together to build with real-time communication technology — in the browser, live, that night.
At this stop, Vonage Developer Advocate Dwane Hemmings will lead a hands-on workshop showing how voice and real-time communication can power interactive, browser-based experiences. You’ll follow along, experiment with the Vonage Voice API, and leave with a working project — no downloads, no installs, no prior experience required.
What the evening includes
→ A community mixer with builders across technology, design, art, and emerging media
→ A hands-on Voice API workshop led by Dwane Hemmings
→ A live technical demo and build session
→ Light bites and meaningful connections across the local tech ecosystem
Who this is for
Anyone who builds things — or is learning to.
Developers, designers, technical founders, AI engineers, career switchers, students, and anyone curious about what’s possible with real-time voice and communication technology are encouraged to join us. Bring your laptop, your curiosity, and your willingness to build.
All are welcome, with an intentional focus on creating space for women and underrepresented builders in emerging technology.
