practitioners cast coins to generate six-line symbols called hexagrams, each offering guidance for life's ever-shifting situations. over centuries, i-ching became a cornerstone of chinese philosophy — a living framework for understanding balance, transformation, and the dance between yin and yang.

today, its ideas are more woven into chinese life and culture than most people realize
