Community Craft Workshop: Zine Making hosted by BGE Bay Area

​Join us for our first community craft workshop, we will making zines at Middle East Café on the patio.

​Zines are small batch, self-published booklets used to share each topics, activism, personal narratives, or art. We will focus on using DIY, low-budget methods. This workshop provides an opportunity for individuals to begin sharing + creating their own media that highlights narratives that one cares about.

​Necessary materials provided, please feel free to bring personal supplies, i.e. pens, markers, magazines, stickers, etc.

​There are space heaters and an awning over the back patio. Tea and dessert provided.

​Parking + Transportation:

​Please allow yourself time to find parking in the area before the event. There is limited parking in the back lot shared with other establishments. Street parking is available in the front and surrounding neighborhood. Multiple bus stops near the crossroads of University Avenue and San Pablo Avenue. As well as the closest BART station being North Berkeley.
