About Event

Start gathering signatures for both Connect Bay Area and Stronger Muni for All, funding public transit in San Francisco and throughout the five counties of the inner Bay Area!

We will meet at the start time (noon) in Civic Center Plaza next to Limoncello - one block from the Civic Center BART station - for a quick training and to hand out petition supplies. We will then gather signatures as the Stand Up for Science rally sets up and attendees arrive in Civic Center Plaza. Everyone is welcome to reconvene near the end of the event to share learnings. Or you can head out and return your completed petitions another day!

We expect Civic Center to be relatively crowded for this event.

For packet exchange, please join us after 12:30.

To see the most friendly faces and to join the group training session, plan to meet at the event start time. But if you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones. Your RSVP is helpful either way.

No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures.  If you're under 18, let us know at [email protected] as there are many other ways to be involved and help!

***

San Francisco needs to pass both the Stronger Muni for All (San Francisco parcel tax) and Connect Bay Area (five-county sales tax) transit measures in November to prevent service cuts, and you can gather signatures for both at the same time! We will have both petitions available at this event.
