ID Lounge V02 — Let's Meet Again!

After a fantastic first edition in October, ID Lounge is back for V02!

ID Lounge is a casual community meetup in Vienna for people involved in creating and developing physical products.

Whether you're an industrial designer, product designer, engineer, product developer, hardware founder, maker, manufacturing specialist or design student, you're more than welcome to join!

The idea is simple: bring together like-minded people to exchange experiences, discuss real products and prototypes, share ideas and meet others from the industry — all in a relaxed atmosphere over a drink or two.

No formal networking, no sales pitches, just people who share a passion for physical products and how they're made.

What to expect

18:30 — Arrival, drinks & getting to know each other

Come in, grab a drink, make yourself comfortable and meet some fellow designers, engineers and product enthusiasts.

19:00 — Welcome, product stories & discussions

I'll kick things off with a short introduction and another product-development story or presentation.

Afterwards, the stage is open to you!

Have you developed an interesting product, worked on a challenging prototype or encountered something worth sharing?

Feel free to bring along a physical object, prototype, or a few images and share your experience with the group.

We'd love to hear about the development process, challenges, failures, improvements and lessons learned.

Short presentations of up to 10 minutes are very welcome!

A TV and laptop will be available — just bring your presentation on a USB stick. If you'd like to present, feel free to contact me beforehand.

No pressure to present anything! You're equally welcome to simply listen, ask questions, meet new people and enjoy the evening.

Afterwards, we'll continue with informal conversations and drinks.

Language

The event and presentations will be held in English, as we're an international community. Of course, you're also welcome to chat in German or any other language during the informal conversations.
