ABOUT SCOTTY
As the fourth generation of my family to live in San Francisco, my roots in the City go back to my great grandfather, who immigrated to the United States with less than $10 to his name. It was in San Francisco that he was able to build a flourishing business in the Tenderloin, and where he was able to make his dreams become a reality.
Like we’ve done after earthquakes and tech booms (and busts), I believe San Francisco is at the beginning of a new age of reinvention; our local government needs to play a critical role in this renaissance, and I want to be a champion of all the good that exists here today, and the prosperous future of our shared tomorrow.
As the would-be-youngest member of the Board of Supervisors, I’ll be the voice of modern San Francisco - focused on pragmatic, reasonable, and realistic solutions to our current challenges, and an optimistic, forward-looking steward of our future. I’m a renter, a member of the LGTBQIA+ community, and most of all, a believer that San Francisco’s best days are still ahead. I’ve worked in non-profits and the corporate world, and am excited to devote the next chapter of my life to public service.
