About Event

This session is part of The Campaign Fringe, an all-day gathering of progressive campaigners and experts exploring bold ideas, practical tools, and best practice.

Held on September 29th at the Camp and Furnace Liverpool, The Campaign Fringe is where effective campaigners share what works.

In this session, Hope Not Hate will present a political intelligence briefing followed by a practical workshop to upskill activists and help them tackle Reform in their areas.

-------------------------------------------------------

Reform is rising fast in the polls; in some areas, they already hold power. This session is about getting informed, building confidence, and sharpening the tools we need to push back.

Lisa and Anki from Hope Not Hate will open with a short briefing on Reform’s voter base, the latest electoral projections, and the work already being done by activists on the ground in areas where Reform have a foothold. They’ll also introduce new tools designed by Campaign Lab's community of technologists to help campaigners challenge Reform more effectively on the ground.

We’ll then break into two focused groups. One will explore how to hold Reform accountable where they are already elected. The other will focus on winning elections against them in 2026. Led by experts, both sessions will dig into the detail and generate practical ideas.

Attendees will leave with new tactics and tools they can actually use to fight Reform in their communities.
