Automation Engines For Real Work: Level 3 - Workflow Systems with Databases
PivotLab: Automation Toolkit for Real Work
Level 3 – Workflow Systems with Databases
In the first two levels, you learned how to move data and design reliable workflows. Level 3 is about building systems that last.
This is where you move beyond individual workflows and start designing automation systems that can remember information, stay organised, and update themselves without constant manual input. The focus is no longer on doing tasks faster, but on removing yourself from repetitive administrative work altogether.
What You Will Learn
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
Design automation systems that maintain and update information over time
Turn unstructured inputs like messages, emails, or calendar events into organised records
Keep a single, reliable source of information without manual updates
Build systems with Telegram, Notion and Google Sheets that quietly run in the background and support your work day after day
Think beyond one-off automations and design for long-term reliability
These skills form the foundation for automation systems that continue to work even when you are not actively managing them.
Who This Level Is For
Level 3 is designed for non-tech professionals who have completed Levels 1 and 2 and are ready to move from building workflows to designing systems. This level is especially useful if you want to:
Reduce administrative work across multiple tools
Avoid duplicate or outdated information
Build automation that supports you consistently over time
By the end of these three hours, you will not just understand how automation systems work. You will leave with a clear mental model for designing systems that handle routine work on your behalf. This is the level where automation becomes long-term leverage, not just a productivity boost.
About PivotLab and Our Learning Path
PivotLab is a hands-on learning community focused on helping non-tech professionals apply AI and automation in real work.
Our workshops are designed as a progressive learning path:
Level 1: Intro to AI Automation Build your first AI agent and understand what automation can do.
Level 2: Workflow Logic Design Learn how to design reliable workflows that can run unattended and handle real-world data.
Level 3: Build Workflow Systems Move beyond workflows to build self-updating automation systems that create lasting leverage.
Between workshops, participants can practise and deepen their skills through Automation Mondays, our free follow-up community sessions.
