​Brandon will share his journey from reading Materials Science at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, to completing a DPhil on AI for quantum computing in silicon, conducting postdoctoral research in quantum thermodynamics, and founding a frontier technology company backed by YC.

The conversation will focus on Brandon’s path to founding Conductor Quantum, his experience applying to and joining Y Combinator, and the lessons he has learned building a frontier deep tech startup.
