Altera Meetup: Build an Original AI Story
IP Compliance for Generative AI, with CopySight AI
AI makes it easy to create something that looks a lot like someone else’s work, even when you didn’t mean to. If you're placing your work online or have commercial clients, that’s a risk you want to see coming. This meetup puts you on both sides of it: you build a story, then you check it.
What we’re doing
You’ll draw a story seed (a genre, a setting, and one object) and spend an hour building a 3-shot AI story, about 15 seconds total. Shot 1 meets the world, shot 2 changes something, and shot 3 pays it off. Work solo or in a pod with others who drew the same seed, and see how differently the same idea turns out. One rule: no naming artists, films, brands, or characters in your prompts.
Then Artem Petrov, co-founder and CEO of CopySight, joins us live to talk about who owns your AI work, what counts as copyrightable, and what tends to get flagged. CopySight checks AI-generated images and video for copyright risk before they ship, scoring how closely they resemble protected characters, brands, and artwork. You’ll try the tool, upload your frame, and see how it scores.
Everyone who stays until the end leaves with free credits to CopySight.
