Financial Forecasting for Startups [Workshop]
Entrepreneurs face a unique challenge in creating a financial forecast as they have little or no financial history. This workshop will walk you through creating a financial forecast for a pitch deck or business plan. Topics will include:

2. What are angel investors looking for?
3. What information should and should not be included.
4. Forecasting growth.
5. Key assumptions you need to define, explain, and understand.
6. Metrics/KPI's.
7. Do's & Don'ts in forecasting.
As entrepreneurs, understanding how to create a business plan and pitch deck are critical to success and providing a financial forecast is a "must have" in both.
About Anne Plechner ('89) - Interim/Fractional CFO, Labyrinth Consulting
Anne Plechner works as a Fractional/Interim CFO, board member, consultant, and coach with extensive experience as a CFO in middle market, high growth companies in a variety of industries. Anne has acquired deep experience in the areas of M&A, FP&A, accounting, optimization, finance, and strategy. She also serves as Chief Operating Officer/Board Member for Women Founders Network and is passionate about mentoring and coaching entrepreneurs and motivating women to succeed in areas of business. Anne graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and earned an MBA with honors from the Anderson Business School at UCLA.
