CODE + MATTER Opening
CODE + MATTER brings together Alexis André, Julien Espagnon, William Mapan and Florian Zumbrunn. Four artists who write programs rather than prompts, transforming algorithms into paintings, sculptures, reworked prints and installations.
Their practice shows how the language of code can move beyond the screen to acquire weight, texture and form, creating a tangible aesthetic born from computation.
At the heart of the exhibition, an interactive installation invites visitors to generate and print algorithmic images in real time, offering a glimpse into the richness of possibilities and the role of research in this field. CODE + MATTER unfolds as both a manifesto and an experience of contemporary creation, where the precision of code meets the substance of matter.
Curated by Dominique Moulon and Grégoire Prangé, the exhibition is part of the official program of the Biennale Némo by Le Centquatre-Paris.
On view from October 21 to October 26, 2025
