About Event

Gamification serves new purpose for attracting attention and learning about climate issues. This event will introduce the benefits of gamification as a tool to engage and stimulate citizens into a deeper understanding of our connections to the natural world.

European Climate Pact Ambassador, Monica Serban will present her newly developed game as a demo that invites players to enter a “cozy” world of insects, biodiversity and eco systems. With the support of the science community through biodiversity research, the event will explore how these digital systems can have positive impact on the communication of current research trends in biodiversity loss.

The goal of the event is to present gamification as a fun way to engage with science and climate action, encouraging citizens learn about insects and connect with nature, digitally.
