Coffee at the crossroads of EU sustainability and global trade - a roundtable

​The roundtable, organised by the European Coffee Federation (ECF), aims to create a direct and informal dialogue between the European coffee sector and the Missions of coffee-producing countries to the EU on how the EU’s rapidly evolving sustainability and trade rules are reshaping global coffee value chains. As coffee is both a strategic export for producing countries and a key imported commodity for the EU, the initiative seeks to ensure that regulatory frameworks are implemented in a way that supports transparent, resilient, and mutually beneficial trade relationships, rather than creating unintended barriers to long-standing partnerships.
