New York’s decision to temporarily halt permitting for new hyperscale data centers is the latest sign of a much bigger collision: AI needs enormous amounts of power, but who will build it, what needs to be deployed, who will finance it, and who will ultimately pay for it?

From Texas and Virginia to Europe, the race to power AI is driving demand for new generation, transmission, storage and other infrastructure, and creating a potentially massive new opportunity for investors, developers and energy companies. On-site resources are becoming critical and can potentially offer flexibility while reducing ratepayer impact.

Moderated by Lisa Martine Jenkins of Latitude Media, energy leaders and investors from Aston Power, Commonwealth Station A, and Redwood Materials will debate where capital is moving, what actually needs to get built, and whether the AI boom will fundamentally reshape how, and from whom, large energy users get their power

Moderator:

Lisa Martine Jenkins | Editor | Latitude Media

Travis Metcalfe | Chief Energy Officer | Commonwealth Asset Management Group

Kevin Berkemeyer | Co-Founder & CEO | Station A

Claire McConnell | Vice President of Business Development | Redwood Materials
