​

​Justin has spent the past eight at the intersection of technology, startups, and venture capital in New Jersey, helping to shape one of the region’s most active and emerging innovation ecosystems. He brings experience both as an operator—working with early-stage startups like Black Crow AI—and as a connector and community builder, previously serving with TechUnited:NJ, one of the largest tech-focused nonprofit communities in the state.

​Today, Justin leads the Ventures team for Plug and Play’s New Jersey operations, where he spearheads fintech, insurtech and AI investments across the region. In this role he focuses on the NJ FAST initiative in collaboration with the NJEDA, Stevens Institute of Technology, and Prudential - a strategic effort designed to accelerate the next generation of insurance and financial services innovation. Through NJ FAST, Justin helps identify and support startups developing new insurance products, embedded finance solutions, and enterprise AI for risk, underwriting, and customer experience (amongst many others).

​Justin is particularly focused on sourcing and supporting early-stage companies that are reimagining core insurance infrastructure and distribution models. He also plays a key role in bridging capital and startup activity between the NJ/NYC region and Silicon Valley, ensuring that founders have the resources, mentorship, and market access they need to scale.
