2026 Innovator Program: Exploration and Information Event
Come explore whether the program is right for you, get your questions answered, and see our new home at BATWorks firsthand.
For in-person attendees, join us for lunch and networking provided after the session!
Calling all innovators! Join us for a hybrid information session to learn about the Offshore Wind Innovation Hub (OWIH) Innovator Program — the only U.S.-based program dedicated to ocean renewables and maritime innovation, now entering its 4th year.
The offshore wind industry is at a pivotal moment, and this program is a rare opportunity to be part of it. New solutions aren't just welcome—they're actively needed. Companies that engage now can shape how offshore wind projects are built and operated in the U.S., build early customer relationships, and establish themselves as critical industry partners.
This session marks a special milestone: we'll be hosting from our brand-new home at BATWorks at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, New York's new purpose-built ecosystem for climate and clean energy innovation, powered by Hub partner NYCEDC. As part of the Innovator Program, accepted companies will join us right here — embedded within a thriving Brooklyn waterfront community. BATWorks isn't just our new address; it's a reflection of what the Innovator Program is all about.
We look forward to welcoming you to BATWorks.

About the Offshore Wind Innovation Hub Innovator Program:
Building on a strong three-year track record, this eight-month intensive program supports the continued advancement of offshore wind in New York and across the U.S. by accelerating impactful and scalable innovations. With this 2026 Call for Innovators, we are especially seeking technologies that can maximize the performance and value of existing and near-term projects.
Our program is industry-specific, enabling us to comprehensively assist our innovators with understanding their market fit and technology adaptation needs, obtaining product feedback, validating their value proposition, accessing data insights, and exploring testing opportunities.
The Offshore Wind Innovation Hub is an initiative led by Urban Future Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and the National Offshore Wind R&D Consortium (NOWRDC) in collaboration with the New York State Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYC EDC).
Our Innovator Program is supported by Equinor and Vestas.
