​​The theme for this experience is “Origins”.

​We'll be sharing stories about the small moments, early sparks, and quiet influences that made us who we are. Where did your sense of self take root? Was it a single memory, a family belief, a place, or a person? What traits can you trace back to your childhood — habits, fears, or values that still echo through your life? And when you hold those origins up to the light now, do they look different than they once did? In celebrating the history and origins of dumpling making, we'll invite you to reflect on yours, too.

​​What to expect:

• ​​​Our gathering will start right at 6:30pm, so please arrive as early as 6pm to settle in.

• ​The first half of our gathering will be all about the history and culture of dumpling making + learning how to make dumplings

• ​Then, as they're cooking, we'll invite dialogue and storytelling around the theme of "Origins". You're not required to share, but it is encouraged!

• ​We will be making vegetarian dumplings and pork & chive dumplings

​This gathering will be hosted by Rachel from StoryTell and Lenny from Dumpling Dude.

​​StoryTell is a gathering to learn, inspire, and share real life stories around each event's theme. Our mission is to build in-person connection through vulnerability, courage, and shared experience.

​Dumpling Dude aims to show a love of Chinese culture far and wide, through activities like dumpling making and mahjong lessons.
