SF Climate Week film screening for impact — Oceania: Journey to the Center w/ filmmaker Q&A
Please join us for this special screening event with Q&A of the internationally recognized documentary,
OCEANIA: Journey to the Center
Join us for an evening of cinematic storytelling and community-building. The film begins on an atoll in Kiribati—a Pacific island nation predicted to become uninhabitable due to sea-level rise and climate change—
Oceania is a character-driven, intimate film created over ten years. While rooted in a specific place, it asks viewers to reflect on universal questions of survival and heritage.
Mix and mingle with filmmaker Natalie Zimmerman and other ocean-forward attendees at the beautiful Donkey & Goat Winery, Berkeley’s first all-natural winery and community space. Following the screening and Q&A, you are invited to stay for a post-event reception.
Event Schedule:
6:00 PM: Doors open. You are welcome to arrive early and enjoy the winery’s indoor space and outdoor patio.
