MPP Mary-Margaret McMahon is teaming up with The Pegasus Shoppe for another Toronto Climate Week event on Saturday, October 4th from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
Empowering consumers and businesses alike, Pegasus has been working on a powerful program at their second-hand store to reduce textile waste. They showcase the potential of any item to transform from one you were ready to bid adieu, to a newly loved piece with a special story.
Bring your own items, or pick something out from Pegasus’ collection. Join us and help kick overconsumption to the curb and feel fabulous doing it!
We will have volunteers who can help with:
Turning old jeans into bags
Embroidery (add personality to a plain piece of clothing)
Mending (sewing machine will be available)
And more!
