Join Seattle Tech Forum and PDMA Seattle at UW in Kirkland for an in-person workshop helping PMs to apply AI tools, ranging from product discovery to prototyping! If you're new to using AI to accelerate your impact as a PM, this session is a great way to get started.
The session will be led by AI PM and UW lecturer Shaili Guru, with support from fellow PMs Amy Peltonen and Amandeep Singh. Shaili has designed the session to be accessible to people new to AI product, though not limited to beginner-level AI basics. The focus is on how PMs can go from problem discovery to a working prototype using AI tools.
Here's what we'll cover
Problem selection and framing — choosing a problem worth solving and identifying the user need first
AI-assisted planning/discovery — using LLMs to think through requirements, edge cases, MVP scope, and product specs/PRDs
Prompt-to-prototype workflows — turning a plan into a working prototype
Different tool approaches — including no-code / low-code tools and AI-assisted coding workflows
Hands-on building time — attendees will have time to work on a real problem and experiment directly
Demo and discussion — comparing how different tools and workflows produce different outputs
