Cursor Hackathon Athens
Four hours. One AI-powered editor. Ship something that didn't exist when you walked in.
Athens gets its second Cursor hackathon - and we're doing it at GWI. Bring a wild idea, a half-baked prototype, or just your curiosity. You'll have four hours to build with Cursor's long-running agents and Composer 2 while surrounded by people doing the exact same thing.
We'll put you on a team before the event based on your idea and skillset - so you show up ready to build, not scrambling to find a group. Teams demo at the end. The best builds win Cursor credits. The rest of us win by watching someone ship a full app in an evening.
How it works:
18:00 - Doors open, meet your pre-assigned team, pizza
18.30 - Build time starts. Mentors roaming. Music on.
21:00 - Demos. Every team gets 3 minutes to show what they shipped.
21:30 - Prizes, drinks, chaos
Important - when you register, we'll ask you two things:
Your project idea (even if it's rough - we want to match teams well)
Your role: developer, designer, or product person
We use this to assemble balanced teams before the event - so you hit the ground running on day one.
What to bring:
Laptop with Cursor installed (cursor.com - it's free to start)
Charger (you'll need it)
Cursor credits for winners. Pizza, drinks, and good energy provided for everyone.
