During the 7 days of The Gathering, 21-27 of September, we will practice co-creating Eternal Forests, anywhere in the world.

We invite land stewards, forest guardians, project leaders, artists, ecologists, educators, designers, communities, institutions, and aligned initiatives to join an immersive, guided, hands-on process of regenerative design and artistic co-creation.

Together, we will create a Seed: a tangible physical regenerative artwork that will later be planted, protected, and grown into a living forest at the site of the Gathering with the local community.

At the same time you will be part of a practical journey learning how to plan, design, create and protect a forest as a living natural and cultural legacy.

This is an invitation for those who work with land, culture, ecology, community, education, regeneration, and long-term change. For those who are growing projects, stewarding places, protecting ecosystems, restoring degraded land, building communities, or seeking new ways for art and ecology to meet.

This will also be a great opportunity for aligned organisations to share their work with new people, connect with future partners, find collaborators and establish future alliances. We are inviting NGOs, land projects, regenerative consultants and actors to join our camp and meet the others in the ecosystem.

Over seven days, the Eternal Forest Camp will become a living, hands-on introduction to how an Eternal Forest Sanctuary can begin.
Each day will explore one essential layer of creating a sanctuary, from first vision to real-world design, partnerships, funding, community engagement, and long-term stewardship.

1. Becoming a Steward
What is an Eternal Forest Sanctuary? What does it take to initiate one? We will explore the role of land stewards, forest guardians, communities, artists, ecologists, educators, and institutions.

2. Mapping the Ecosystem
We will identify the people and organisations needed around a land project: neighbours, farmers, municipalities, schools, NGOs, scientists, artists, funders, local businesses, elders, youth, and future guardians.

3. Placemaking & Listening to Land
How do we understand a place before designing it? We will look at local ecology, history, culture, access, community memory, and the living character of the land.

4. Regenerative & Artistic Design
We will explore how forest design can support biodiversity, water, soil, education, eco-tourism, community living, regenerative agriculture, and cultural life.

5. Creating the Seed
Together, we will co-create a physical Seed: a regenerative artwork that carries the story, intention, and first form of the future forest.

6. Funding & Alliances
We will look at practical pathways for financing, partnerships, regenerative finance, sponsorship, grants, and long-term support.

7. Celebration & Continuity
How does a sanctuary stay alive in culture? We will design cycles of celebration, community gatherings, rituals, learning, and stewardship that continue beyond The Gathering.

A practical camp for anyone working with land, ecology, culture, community, education, regeneration, or long-term change.
