In this intimate workshop, you’ll craft your own handmade leather journal cover using pre-cut leather, grommets, binding string, and curated charms. You’ll learn simple leatherworking techniques to assemble and personalize your piece, resulting in a timeless cover that can be refilled and reused again and again.

This experience is inspired by slow craft and everyday luxury — the kind of object you carry with you, write into often, and allow to age alongside your life. Each journal becomes uniquely yours through subtle details, natural imperfections, and intentional design choices.

All materials are provided, including one notebook insert. No experience is necessary — just a love for tactile materials and meaningful objects.

You’ll leave with a finished leather journal cover and the knowledge to continue using it as a personal archive, sketchbook, or daily companion.

✿ Getting Here

Soft Studio Days is located in Montréal, 2000 northcliffe apt 216.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in, grab your drink, and find your spot before we begin.

Parking and public transit info: we are a hidden location. when you arrive at 2000 northcliffe, youre gonna walk past the main entrance door and walk down the street. youll then notice on the side of the building all the 200 apartments. youll see a wooden fence and were right next to that. 216 :)

All events require a minimum number of participants in order to run. If the event doesn’t meet that minimum, we’ll notify you and issue a full refund or transfer your ticket to another date.
