Build and Ship: A PaaS Community Event
Build and Ship — ビルダー、創業者、開発者が共にアプリケーションを設計し、デプロイし、リリースする、ハンズオン形式のコミュニティイベント。Build.io、AI Builders、ai& が共同主催。
イベントについて
優れたソフトウェアは、ローカルでコードが動いた時点で完成するわけではありません。人々に使ってもらえる状態、信頼できる状態、公開できる状態になって、初めて完成と言えます。Build and Ship は、近代的なアプリケーションがどのように構築され、デプロイされ、運用されているかに情熱を持つすべての方のための、プラットフォーム志向のコミュニティイベントです。
プログラムにはショートトークやプロダクトデモ、参加者同士の交流の機会、そしてチームが組んで実際に動くアプリケーションをデプロイし、自分たちのアイデアで新たな形に作り変えるミニハッカソンが含まれます。
チームは Build.io を使用して、プロジェクトのデプロイと運用を行います。初めて自分のプロジェクトをバイブコーディングで作り上げるビギナーから、本番環境の複雑な運用に日々取り組んでいる経験豊富な開発者まで、Build.io なら安心してご利用いただけます。
ミニハッカソンには、トークを聞いてコミュニティと交流するだけで参加する方法もあれば、チームに加わってオープンソースプロジェクトをデプロイし、その上に新しい何かを創造する方法もあります。ゴールは競争に勝つことではなく、学び、試し、アイデアを交換し、ソースコードから実際に動くアプリケーションが生まれるまでのプロセス全体を体感することです。
ミニ「Deployathon」
「Fork、Deploy、Transform（フォークして、デプロイして、形にしよう）」 参加者はまず動作するオープンソースのアプリケーションから始め、Build 上で実際に動作させた上で、AI、API、デザイン、新しいユーザー体験などによって独自の変貌を遂げてもらいます。
セッション終了までに、各チームがコミュニティにデモ可能な、稼働中のアプリケーションを持っている状態を目指します。

About the Event
Great software is not finished when the code runs locally. It is finished when it is accessible, reliable, and ready for people to use. Build and Ship is a platform-focused community event for anyone passionate about how modern applications are built, deployed, and operated.
The program will include short talks and product demonstrations, opportunities to meet other builders, and a friendly mini hackathon where participants can team up to deploy a live application and transform it with their new ideas.
Teams will use Build.io to deploy and operate their projects. From first-time builders vibe coding their first projects, to seasoned developers juggling the complexities of operating production systems, Build.io has got you covered.
You are welcome to attend the talks and connect with the community, or take part in the mini hackathon by joining a team, deploying an open-source project, and building something new on top of it. The goal is not simply to compete. It is to learn, experiment, exchange ideas, and experience the complete journey from source code to a live application.
The Mini "Deployathon"
"Fork, Deploy, Transform." Participants begin with a functioning open-source application, get it running on Build, and then differentiate it through AI, APIs, design, or a new user workflow.
By the end of the session, each team should have a live application that they can demonstrate to the community.
