​About Helene Alonso:

​Hélène Alonso is the founder and CEO of WonderWay AI, a voice-first platform creating a conversational layer for museums and cultural spaces. With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling, she has led the creation of award-winning digital and interactive experiences that have engaged tens of millions of visitors worldwide.

​Previously, she served as Director of Interactives and Media at the American Museum of Natural History, where she oversaw the design and production of more than 400 installations, contributing to experiences that reached over 30 million visitors and generated significant institutional revenue. She later became Chief Design Officer at leading AI companies, where she developed multimodal, AI-driven products for education and enterprise, including award-winning hardware and software systems.

​Hélène is also a faculty member at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), where she teaches design and artificial intelligence. Her work has been recognized with honors including the Webby Awards, Muse Awards, Thea Awards, Red Dot, Core77, and the Good Design Award.

​Through WonderWay AI, she is reimagining how people engage with culture, transforming museum visits into dynamic, personalized conversations that deepen curiosity, expand access, and connect audiences to knowledge in new ways.
