Climate Week India 2026: Delhi Launch marks the opening of Climate Week India 2026 in Delhi, bringing together participating organisations and partners for a collaborative day of conversations, learning and action on climate change.
The launch will feature a diverse programme of workshops, panel discussions, speaking sessions and an exhibition, with partners co-hosting sessions across different dimensions of climate action. The event will create a platform for practitioners, researchers, youth, civil society organisations and community voices to exchange perspectives, share practical experiences and explore pathways for climate action.
A key component of the launch will be the exhibition “Workers, Climate and the Changing World of Work”, presented by Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing (WIEGO) and partners. Through photographs and research resources from WIEGO's ongoing climate work, the exhibition highlights how rising heat and a changing climate are reshaping the everyday work and lives of Delhi's informal workers. It centres workers' experiences, coping strategies and demands, offering a grounded perspective on climate adaptation and the realities of a changing world of work.
