About Event

The Knowledge Quarter and London Society presents Future London, a new public series exploring the forces shaping London's future - and the choices the city must make to get there.

Future London continues with a conversation on how technology is transforming the way millions of people move around the capital every day.

As millions of Londoners work, live, and study across the city, many have witnessed the evolution of its transport system first-hand - from bus upgrades and geolocated bikes to the emergence of autonomous vehicles. Data-driven transport is developing in real time, opening up new possibilities for how the city moves.

But could technology actually reshape the daily commute, or will it mostly reinforce the patterns already baked into London's infrastructure? What will the city's transport system actually look like in ten years, and how ready is London to adapt?
