Agentic Payment is moving from proof of concept to real-world application. As AI agents begin to act on behalf of individuals and businesses — making purchases, initiating payments, settling transactions and facilitating cross-border flows — the question is no longer simply whether AI can pay. The focus is shifting to how Agentic Payment can enable real business use cases, scale effectively, and operate within the right frameworks for authorisation, risk management and regulatory compliance.
During TOKEN2049, MetaComp will host a closed-door dialogue in Singapore, bringing together dozens of organisations across payments, banking, stablecoins and the AI ecosystem, including Standard Chartered, Tether, one of the world’s leading stablecoin issuers, and other industry partners. Speakers and participants will share perspectives on the real-world applications and evolving landscape of Agentic Payment.
