The RichieBot Premiere: A Private Evening at the Intersection of Art, AI & Modern Marketing
An invite-only gathering exploring what happens when AI moves beyond efficiency and begins shaping memory, creativity, and human connection.
We’re bringing together a small, curated group of marketing leaders for the world premiere of RichieBot: A Modern Legacy, an experimental documentary and immersive art project exploring a question at the center of technology and marketing today:
How do we preserve what makes us human?
The project began with the archives of J. Richard Dema, a marketer and entrepreneur—and the late father of Brian Dema, founder of the Department of Growth. Using thousands of pages of his writings, sales training materials, voice recordings, and video, the RichieBot team tests how AI, psychology, and storytelling can keep alive a person’s ideas and creative legacy.

AI is changing how stories are built, how teams work, how brands show up, and how audiences experience meaning. But the advantage won’t come from automation alone. It will come from knowing what to scale, what to protect, and where human judgment still creates the difference.
This will be part gallery opening, part film premiere, and part conversation, designed to feel a little unexpected, a little underground, and very much of this moment.
The evening will include:
The world premiere of the documentary RichieBot: A Modern Legacy (20 minutes)
An interactive hologram of RichieBot that you can experience for yourself
An immersive art activation with national artists creating work built from the archives
A short conversation on AI and marketing with the RichieBot team and leaders from EM Marketing, The Break, and the Department of Growth
Hors d'oeuvres & craft cocktails mixed by a real human
As someone helping shape how brands, teams, and businesses adapt to this next chapter of technology, we know that your perspective will be invaluable in the room.
In a sea of AI noise, the organizations that stand out won’t just move faster; they’ll remain more human.
We’d love for you to join us.
