Empowering CSOs’ Role in Ensuring a Transparent Power System to Accelerate the Renewable Energy Transition

​From overcharging grid fees to denying renewables access to the electricity grid outright, opaque policies have hindered the potential of renewable generation and a rapid just transition.

​This panel discussion hosted by Solutions For Our Climate (SFOC) will bring together energy CSOs from across Asia to bring attention to the importance of transparency and data democratization in the power system for all actors as a fundamental principle of a just energy system, as well as what CSOs can do to improve transparency in their respective locales. Through this session, participants will share experiences and identify pathways and steps to tackle transparency issues.
