Flow with The Undertow: A Mindful Morning For Ocean-Climate Action
Toronto, we're pulling you into The Undertow and bringing the ocean into the climate conversation.
Because no matter where in the world you are… Whatever your skillset, sector, or superpower is, the ocean needs you.
But first, to sustain the planet, we must first sustain ourselves.
Join us for a mindful morning and candid coffee chat led by The Undertow, founded by three landlocked, ocean-obsessed Torontonians on a mission to inspire positive pathways for ocean action every day. Pause, reflect, and reconnect with the why behind your work and tap into the power of your personal climate awakening.
Connection, Community, Conversation
What to Expect: Begin your day with intention, cultivating a calm, focused mind ready for positive climate action. Participate in a 10-minute mindful pause guided by Sounds of the Ocean, and share your story by reflecting on the wins and challenges of building a purpose-driven life and career.
📍 This session takes place online before your workday or conference day.
☕ Be comfortable and hydrate with water or a beverage of your choice
🎧 Be prepared with headphones, for the Sounds of the Ocean mindfulness film.
We encourage you to keep your camera on to foster connection during conversation, but to turn them off and tune in as you experience the film.

About the Undertow
The Undertow is a mission-driven marketplace for ocean knowledge and action, powered by stories of the human-ocean connection. The Undertow exists to inspire both individuals and organizations to take ocean-positive action through immersive storytelling, place-based experiences, and strategic collaborations. Central to its work is the celebration of Way’veMakers™, change-makers who are initiating ocean action through their work across industries, sectors, communities, cultures, and coastlines.
By building community and amplifying impact, The Undertow’s mission is to inspire 10 million new ocean connections and unlock $5 million in ocean action by 2030, one meaningful connection at a time.
Co-founded by Serena Nguyen (Founder of Evolve Oceans), a Blue Economy Strategist; Amanda Horn (Founder of Shower ThoughtsTM), a Divemaster and Brand Marketer; and Andrew Lewin (Founder of Speak Up for Blue), a Marine Scientist and Podcast Host, three landlocked ocean leaders charting their own paths into ocean impact, The Undertow was born from the belief that no one navigates the ocean alone and that whatever your superpower is, the ocean needs it. Connection inspires action, and they're ready to pull you in with the stories and solutions of Way'veMakers so you can take action for the ocean from no matter where in the world you are.
