From Localhost to Live: Ship Your First App with Claude Code
You've already built something. The problem is, it lives only on your laptop.
Most projects die in the final mile in the era of vibe coding. Making the leap from chatting with an LLM to actually publishing something on a live URL is where side projects often stall.
This workshop focuses on closing that gap by educating participants on how to make ship, make changes, and maintain an app.
We'll use Claude Code to read, understand, and modify a real codebase together — then deploy it to a live URL. You'll learn what's actually happening under the hood: how GitHub, hosting, and deployment connect, and what it means to push something live. By the end, your project will be on a real URL, shareable with anyone.

About
Megha Torpunuri
Megha Torpunuri is an ex-founder and software consultant based in San Francisco. She co-founded Whimsy, an AI-native backend for wedding and event professionals — inspired by her work as a florist at Wave Floral. She believes in the fun and personal side of software, building side projects like WedFill and Hawk Hill PR; currently she’s automating the backend of her floral design business so she can spend more time with flowers, clients, or out on her bike and getting inspired by nature. She considers Claude her engineering manager, executive assistant, and right-hand woman — all in one tool.
