Freely explore early literacy themed sensory experiences in a small group environment! This workshop is especially designed for children ages 2-3 to safely move, learn, and grow.
What to expect:
📖Alphabet themed sensory bins for fine motor development.
📖Sensory story baskets with books, felt character pieces, puppets, and themed props for free exploration and early literacy exposure.
📖 'Caregiver and Me' circle time at 3:55 with alphabet themed music and movement, and a short, interactive read aloud.
📖 We know toddlers need to move to learn - and in this soft, open environment with play cushions, they are encouraged to do so freely!
📖 Meet other caregivers and let your children develop their social and group readiness skills with same-age peers in a cozy, small group environment.
📖 Support early development, spark curiosity, and create joyful moments with your child!
Who we are: Meggie and Raela are your teachers with Friendship in the Feld, an early childhood development program providing play-based educational workshops for children. We are two early childhood educators with more than 20 years of combined experience with young children. Through sensory experiences, art exploration and child-led play, we aim to support social-emotional learning and help develop community and school readiness skills.

Q: How many people does 1 ticket include? A: Your ticket purchase includes 1 adult and 1 child under 3 years old.
Q: Can I also bring another caregiver with me? A: Unfortunately due to the size of the space, we can only allow 1 caregiver per child to attend the workshop with their baby.
Q: Can I bring my toddler’s siblings with me? A: Our workshops are carefully designed for the developmental needs of children ages 2-3. If you have more than one child between the ages of 2-3, please purchase Sibling Tickets along with 1 standard ticket. Otherwise, we ask that older siblings do not attend.Infants may attend free of charge.
Q: Is there a bathroom on site? A: Yes, there is an adult bathroom on site and access to a diaper changing mat.
Q: Is there stroller parking? A: You may park your strollers on the sidewalk in front of the studio, or inside the building door in the hallway to the building’s Hof.
Q: Is the location indoors or outdoors? A: The studio location is indoors in a small gym space.
Q: How do I gain entry to the studio? A: Please find instructions in the ‘Location’ section on the event page.
Q: What should I do if I can no longer attend the workshop? A: If you can no longer attend a workshop, we ask that you please let us know by cancelling your registration on Luma. If you cancel your participation at least 7 days before the event, you will receive a refund of the ticket price minus Lumas's ticketing fee. Cancellations made after 7 days of the event are non-refundable, but we will happily provide a discount code for your next ticket purchase.
