​✍️ Workshop: Blog-post Writing

​Note - this event is only open to members of Durham University, sorry!

​This week we will be focusing on ‘making the case for AI Safety’, a topic which no doubt underpins much of the work we do here at DAISI! Of course, within the AIS field itself, we find it easy to care about the various risks from advanced AI. However, our actions aren’t intended to be vacuous, they’re intended to motivate others to take action - lawmakers and the public in particular. Good journalism, which starts with accessible discourse, is vital and that’s what we’re looking at this week!

Whether you’re an aspiring law and/or policy maker yourself, a technologist wanting to state your case, or someone looking for more advice about writing then please feel free to attend these sessions!
