Screen Print & Upcycle with Jayes Caitlin
We’re excited to welcome Jayes Caitlin back to Art Club for a special guest artist workshop, ONE NIGHT ONLY.
Jayes is a Portland-based artist, designer, and printmaker known for her bold visual world and years of experience teaching print workshops along the West Coast. She now teaches workshops at her studio, RISO Studio Arts PDX, where she serves as Studio Director.
This time, she’s bringing a fun, approachable screen printing setup to the Solar Lounge so guests can experiment, upcycle, and make something that feels truly their own. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to screen print using the MiScreen, an accessible printmaking method that makes it easy to work with your own images, text, or illustrations without needing advanced prep.
Bring your own:
clothing (t-shirts, jacket?)
fabric
paper (scrap book/journal?)
canvas (patches?)
or another flat item you want to print on
No design prep needed.
Photos, text, and illustrations can all work.
This workshop is for people who want a creative night out that feels tactile, memorable. Come ready to experiment, get a little inky, and leave with something personal, wearable, frameable, or giftable.
