Policy Block: Slowing your path to decarbonisation
Climate Action Week Drop-In Session: Help Shape Better Policy for Decarbonisation
Are you working to decarbonise your business, community, farm or land — and running into policy, regulatory or practical barriers along the way?
As part of Climate Action Week, the NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub is hosting an informal drop-in session for people on the frontline of climate action who want to be heard.
The Hub works directly with the NSW Government to help accelerate the transition to net zero. This session is your opportunity to speak directly with our team, share what’s holding you back, and highlight the real-world challenges you’re facing — from planning and approvals to funding, regulation, and market access.
We are actively working with government to improve policy and regulatory settings, but we need to understand the barriers first. Your insights will help inform better solutions that support faster, fairer and more practical decarbonisation across NSW.
What to expect:
A relaxed, drop-in conversation with the Decarbonisation Innovation Hub team
Space to explain your project, idea or challenge
We’ll capture key barriers and opportunities to feed directly into our policy and government engagement work
No presentations — just practical, two-way dialogue
Whether you’re installing renewables, transitioning your operations, trialling low-emissions technologies, or leading community climate action — this session is for you.
Come for a chat. Be heard. Help shape the policies that will accelerate decarbonisation in NSW.
Drop in anytime during the session.
Open to anyone.
Informal, free, and no registration required.
Together, we can turn barriers into pathways for climate action.
