Alone/Together is a participatory documentary that captures how people around the world—artists, parents, children, and essential workers—faced isolation and found resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. Filmed across 11 countries, it amplifies voices from the U.S., U.K., Italy, Russia, Taiwan, Japan, China, Malaysia, Germany, Ireland, and the Netherlands. The film has been featured at the Social Impact Film Festival (NYC & LA), Workers Unite! Film Festival (NYC), and Portobello Film Festival (London, UK).
Through intimate self-recorded moments and personal reflections, Alone/Together explores the shared challenges of loneliness and the creative ways people built connection and strength during uncertain times.
The event is part of Healing Arts Week program, a global campaign by the Jameel Arts & Health Lab in collaboration with the World Health Organization
