Uncivil Disobedience: Art Against Empire

​❤️‍🔥Please join us on Saturday, 9/27, from 6-9pm for “Uncivil Disobedience: Art Against Empire,” a multimedia performance featuring poetry readings, dance and musical performances, and a communal reflection + conversation. Suggested donations: $20-75. Pay what you can, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds benefit the Sameer Project and other mutual aid efforts in Gaza.

​🌱 Artists include dancers Johnny Huy Nguyen and Terrence Paschal, musician Tim Kim, poets Adam Ahmed and Christine Huang, and more.

​💚We will also be doing a community donation to help pay Understory staff and our artists.
