Ready to turn your AI skills into something that can make a real difference? Join AI Builders and Tencent Cloud in Hong Kong for a high-energy, half-day Agent Creativity Hackathon for Autism Charity, organized in partnership with Hong Kong Children & Youth Services.

Connect with 80 developers, designers, hackers, and AI builders to create practical, innovative solutions supporting the autism community. Compete across three exciting tracks for US$3,000 in total cash prizesUS$1,000 for the winning team in each track—plus the opportunity to advance to the Shenzhen Global Finals.

Miora Track: Create an Animation

The event runs in three stages: online pre-registration, an online early bird submission, and an offline final presentation. At the in-person event, judges select the top 1 project from each track (3 winning teams in total), each team will get 1000 USD Cash prize 🏆 and move on to the Shenzhen Global Finals.

Timeline

  • Project submission opening: July 9th

  • Early bird submission: August 11th, 12pm (extra points for early bird submissions).

  • Participants continue to build on event day

  • Final project submission ends on event day

  • Best team of each of the 3 tracks announced; 1000 USD Cash Prize per team 🏆

Event Agenda · Morning Session

  • 8:30 – Sign-in & Networking

  • 9:00 – Foundation Opening

  • 9:15 – Introduction to the Autism Charity Theme & Three Tracks

  • 9:30 – Advancing Teams On-site Development & Debugging

  • 10:10 – Nine Teams Present Sequentially & Judging

  • 12:20 – Awards & Closing Ceremony

Early Bird Submission

  • Early bird submission: August 11th, 12pm (extra points for early bird submissions).

  • We will announce the top three projects per track during the event.

Team Formation

  • You can have a maximum of 3 people per team, or you can go solo.

  • During the sign-up process, you don't have to sign up as teams. We sign up individually, so you can find team members yourself and ask everyone to sign up on this Luma page.

Judging Criteria

  • Hackathon theme alignment: Did the project solve any problem about autism?

  • Completeness: Whether the participant finished at least a minimum viable product.

  • Innovation: Is the product idea innovative?

  • Sponsored Product Usage: Did the team use sponsored products?

  • Early Bird Bonus: Was the final project submitted before August 11th, 12 p.m. Hong Kong time?

What to expect

  • Hands-on guidance across three Tencent Cloud products: CodeBuddy, WorkBuddy, and Miora

  • Three tracks: build a game, build an agent, create an animation

  • Online first-round selection followed by an offline final presentation

  • 2,000 free product credits per product as participation incentives

  • On-site judging and awards, with 9 teams presenting live

  • Global Finals slots in Shenzhen for the top 1 team from each track (3 winning teams)
