About Event

About Event

AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and others are moving from side experiments into the core of how teams ship software, but most engineers are still figuring out what working with them in production actually looks like.

The theme of this event is how teams are shipping production code with coding agents, and what they've learned the hard way. We'll dig into the layers that determine whether these tools deliver: harnesses and the environments they run in, skills and custom commands, context engineering, guardrails, review workflows, and the failure modes you only hit once you're past the demo. If you're using coding agents day to day, or trying to roll them out across a team, this session will give you a grounded view of what works, what breaks, and how experienced engineers are actually using them.

Agenda

  • 6.00pm - Doors open. Drinks & food!

  • 6.30pm - Opening Talk: Best Practices at Scale: Coding Standards in the Age of Agents by Hila Fox

  • 6.55pm - Panel Discussion: It's Not the Model. It's Everything Around the Model.

  • 7.30pm - Networking

  • 8.30pm - Event ends

Panelists:

  • Moderator - Kunal Kushwaha - Senior Developer Advocate EMEA @ Cast AI

  • Henry Broomfield - Startups team | Research Engineer @ OpenAI

  • Mauricio "Salaboy" Salatino - OSS & Ecosystem Engineer @ Dash0

  • Josh Mesout - Chief Innovation Officer at Civo & Co-founder @ RelaxAI

  • Gus Shaw Stewart - Solution Engineer @ Port

Hila Fox — Principal Engineer turned AI Product Manager @ Qodo

Hila is a Principal Engineer turned AI Product Manager with 10+ years of experience building products. Coming from a background of technical leadership, she knows what it means to build AI and with AI, speaking and writing about software architecture, DDD, and what AI really means for the way we build software.

Henry Broomfield- Startups team | Research Engineer @ OpenAI

Applied AI for Startups team, helping startups build and evaluate reliable AI products. He has always worked within startups and most recently training frontier AI evaluation models and building an agentic evaluation platform.

Kunal Kushwaha — Senior Developer Advocate EMEA @ Cast AI

Kunal leads developer relations across EMEA at CAST AI, focusing on cloud-native technologies and AI infrastructure. He founded WeMakeDevs, a global mentorship community for developers, and his educational content has reached millions on YouTube. A committed open source advocate, Kunal speaks regularly at KubeCon, DevOps Days, and major industry conferences on cloud, AI, and developer growth.

Mauricio "Salaboy" Salatino — OSS & Ecosystem Engineer @ Dash0

Mauricio has spent the last decade building tools for cloud-native developers at companies including Red Hat and VMware. Now at Dash0, he works at the intersection of open source and ecosystem engineering. A Java Champion, Cloud Native Ambassador, and international keynote speaker, he is also the author of Platform Engineering on Kubernetes.

Josh Mesout — Chief Innovation Officer at Civo & Co-founder at RelaxAI

Josh Mesout is the Co-Founder of RelaxAI and the Chief Innovation Officer at Civo, where he focuses on exploring emerging technologies and driving innovation across the company’s cloud platform. His work includes identifying opportunities in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud-native infrastructure.

Before joining Civo, Josh led enterprise machine learning platform initiatives at AstraZeneca, supporting hundreds of machine learning projects across multiple research and business teams. His background spans data science platforms, cloud engineering, and technology innovation programs.

Gus Shaw Stewart is a Solutions Engineer at Port focused on helping platform teams adopt AI agents safely and practically. He works at the intersection of internal developer portals, platform engineering, and enterprise GenAI.

Previously at GitHub, he worked closely with large engineering organisations rolling out GitHub Copilot in regulated environments, helping teams move from experimentation to responsible, organisation-wide adoption.

Gus is the founder of Platform Nation, a London platform engineering community, and regularly speaks about platform engineering, InnerSource, and real-world AI implementation. He started his career as a software engineer and still enjoys building things whenever he can.

This event is brought to you by Bond AI, the largest in-person AI events community, Qodo, the AI code review platform trusted by engineering teams to ship quality code without slowing down.
