AI x Visual Journalism Forum

​AI is reshaping visual storytelling. Tools that generate, edit and synthesize images, video and data visualizations are moving faster than the field can track. There are no industry standards, few documented cases and a lot of open questions. So instead of waiting for policy, we are going to jumpstart the conversation and start prototyping.

​Join Hacks/Hackers and Arizona State University's Narrative and Emerging Media program for a full day of hands-on learning with visual journalists, technologists, artists and ethics experts. We will look at how other industries are already using AI to produce visual content, prototype ideas and start building frameworks journalism can actually use.

​The event kicks off with a reception Tuesday, August 25 at 6p, and then runs Wednesday, August 26 from 930a-430p with a reception following.
