After a brief detour for Halifax weather, AI After Hours returns. Same room. Same energy. Same curiosity about where AI is heading and how it’s shaping our work and lives.
When you arrive, we'll ask you three questions:
What are you building with AI?
What are you thinking about with AI?
What are you doing with AI?
AI After Hours is a relaxed evening for people who are
Builders – engineers, developers, researchers creating with AI
Thinkers – ethicists, policymakers, journalists, and community leaders questioning its impact
Doers – operators, strategists, project managers, creatives, educators implementing AI in their work
The curious – students, career pivoters, anyone trying to understand where it all fits
Get involved beyond attending
If you're curious about any of these roles, this is the place to start those conversations naturally:
Host or lead sessions – facilitate workshops, discussions, or skill-shares
Volunteer – help with events, community outreach, or operations
Partner with us – support our people, work, and programming through collaboration or sponsorship
