Canada Open Online: For Anyone Curious about AI or the AI Collective

Canada Open Online is a fast‑paced, nation‑wide virtual session for anyone curious about The AI Collective and how local chapters work across Canada. In a focused 15‑minute talk followed by open Q&A, we’ll walk through what The AI Collective is, why this community matters right now, and how you can open a chapter in your own city or region.

You’ll hear the story and values behind The AI Collective as a grassroots, non‑profit AI community, and what chapters actually do on the ground—from small meetups and living‑room‑style conversations to larger community events and collaborations. We’ll also introduce the key roles that make a chapter run well, such as Chapter Leads, Co‑Leads, and Event Organizers, and what kind of support and expectations come with each.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear, simple path for getting involved—whether that means starting a chapter, co‑leading with others, helping organize events, or plugging into an existing chapter near you. Most of the time will be reserved for open Q&A, so bring your questions about chapters, time commitment, event formats, partnerships, or anything else you’re wrestling with. No technical background is required; this session is for students, professionals, founders, civic leaders, and the simply AI‑curious across Canada.
