🧬 Biology Meets AI | Powering Biological Innovation through Artificial Intelligence
Join us for an inspiring evening at the intersection of biology and artificial intelligence, where code meets cells and machine learning accelerates our understanding of life itself.
Presented by The AI Collective, Toronto Chapter, Biology Meets AI is a curated gathering at the forefront of bioinnovation. We’ll explore how artificial intelligence is transforming the life sciences from decoding the brain and genome to reshaping diagnostics, precision medicine, health data, and ethical care.
Whether you're a researcher, data scientist, healthcare professional, student, or simply bio curious, this event is for you. If you’re building models with biological data, reimagining patient care, or shaping public health strategy, come take part in the conversation driving the future of health and technology.
🎤 Featured Speaker
Adib Fallahpour:
Adib is a Machine Learning engineer at Cohere, and a researcher at Arc Institute, UHN, and Vector Institute. His research focuses on advancing AI in biology and healthcare. He studies CS and Neuroscience at the University of Toronto and formerly founded and led GenAI Genesis, Canada's largest AI hackathon.
He will be presenting BioReason, the first multimodal reasoning model in biology. BioReason integrates a DNA foundation model with a large language model (LLM) to enable direct processing and reasoning with genomic information, enabling AI to reason how mutations could lead to disease.
